HAPPY NEW YEAR!

2008 has come and gone. Now as we welcome in 2009 it is time for that “time honored” tradition of making your New Year’s resolution. Not sure why. Because it is always followed at some point by the follow-up time honored tradition of breaking the resolution.  All seems rather pointless to me. People always pick thinks that are way too difficult like “I vow to loose 50lbs by next week” or “I resolve to not call the neighbors kid a little bastard” or “I resolve not to web surf while at work”. No one can maintain that level of dedication.

This year I resolve to not resolve anything.

Damn.. I broke it already!

Site updates

Here are just a couple of quick links.

If you would like to be considered for membership in Shadows of Chaos - go here and apply in the Recruitment Area. Please DO NOT register for forum access unless you are already a guild member (it will be deleted-damn spammers). Registering for forum access is not necessary for applying and does not get you into the guild; is not considered applying for guild membership, nor does it get you a discount at Wal-mart or Jiffy Lube.

If you are already a Guild Member and need to register for access to the rest of the boards - go here . You need to register using the name of one of your toons. Other wise I won't know who it is and it will get deleted with the rest of the spammers.

Once registered I'll approve your access. Either catch me in-game, or you can wait until I check the site (which is frequent).

Mission of Chaos

Our purpose is simple – to have fun.

Some of us came to World of Warcraft from Shadowbane (another MMorpg) and have been playing since release. The camaraderie we built in Shadowbane we brought here and extend to all that join the guild.

We believe in helping each other, but folks are also expected to be able to stand on their own 2 feet (or hooves depending on race).

We encourage PvP but it’s up to each individual how much they want to PvP.

We have a mix of hardcore and casual players. Others are casually hardcore.

We also believe that there is no better sound than when an alliance goes “squish”.

Our long term goals, other than wiping Alliance off our boots, is to continue enjoying all the game has to offer while keeping the guild a great place for friends to hang out.
