So far, it is awesome. So much to see and do between the new areas and new class. Anyone that is still hanging on the fence .. run don't walk to your local software store and get it.
Things have been slow lately. If you read any of the Wow forums, blogs, even WoW Insider.. it's been much quieter than usual. The dreaded "pre-expansion blahs" have truly hit. Which nicely enough (NOT) coincides with the end of summer. And the end of summer always brings it's own lack of motivation and difficulties. For raiding in particular. Folks just are not on as much. They are getting in last minute vacations, getting kids ready for school, getting ready for college, or just plain burnt out on the daily grind. Motivation is dragging like the long hot summer days. And there doesn't appear to be anything on the horizon between now and release of Wrath (fingers crossed it's in November). Even the initial giddy rush of hearing Wrath news has faded.
Oh well. A couple months from now, once the expansion is out, the complaint will be that there is not enough hours in the day to accomplish everything there is to do in Northrend. A boat I look forward to being in.
If you would like to be considered for membership in Shadows of Chaos - go here and apply in the Recruitment Area. Please DO NOT register for forum access unless you are already a guild member (it will be deleted-damn spammers). Registering for forum access is not necessary for applying and does not get you into the guild; is not considered applying for guild membership, nor does it get you a discount at Wal-mart or Jiffy Lube.
If you are already a Guild Member and need to register for access to the rest of the boards - go here . You need to register using the name of one of your toons. Other wise I won't know who it is and it will get deleted with the rest of the spammers.
Once registered I'll approve your access. Either catch me in-game, or you can wait until I check the site (which is frequent).
Mission of Chaos
Our purpose is simple – to have fun.
Some of us came to World of Warcraft from Shadowbane (another MMorpg) and have been playing since release. The camaraderie we built in Shadowbane we brought here and extend to all that join the guild. We believe in helping each other, and enjoy doing guild instance runs. But folks are also expected to be able to stand on their own 2 feet (or hooves depending on race).
We encourage PvP but it’s up to each individual how much they want to PvP.
We have a mix of hardcore and casual players. Others are casually hardcore.
We also believe that there is no better sound than when an alliance goes “squish”.
Our long term goals, other than wiping Alliance off our boots, is to continue enjoying all the game has to offer while keeping the guild a great place for friends to hang out.
